Peking am Dom in Cologne

Those who like Chinese should visit this restaurant. Price / performance ratio: Food is very good and inexpensive. Had a dish # 61 with duck. Meat was very juicy and served well with vegetables. Staff is very attentive. Would go back anytime

Very nice ambience, delicious food and friendly service. If you are into traditional Chinese food, you should definitely try it;) In addition, the location is perfect, right across from the cathedral and after shopping you can treat yourself to a little break there :)

It looks like an authentic place, but if you're asian or you'll know their cooking is almost equal to Chinese take outs. The portion is small, the price is too high and they have rude waiters. I paid like 13-16eur (i forgot how much exactly) for a shrimp omelette, there's barely any shrimp, and the shrimp is obviously those tiny frozen shrimps. Pathetic.

Amazingly good Chinese in the middle of the tourist center of Cologne. I wouldn't have expected that. The service was extremely pleasant. Gladly again

Great food right in the city centre of Cologne. Frequently visited by Chinese tourists, implying authentic cooking.

Location is exquisite with a wonderful view of the Dom. Service very friendly but a bit slow. Had to walk out to get the bill. Ordered Bami goreng for lunch but got Singapore Noodles. ? Was in a hurry so didn't query it.

Fantastic location. The dishes are not seasoned, a Maggi bottle is served with the meal. Reasonable prices for the food but the drinks are too expensive as usual. The operation is impeccable. You don't have to go there but you can because of the location and the nice ambience.

I am very glad to have found this fine restaurant. The interior is nice and overall the food is good and made in a traditional fashion without flaws. I would certainly return here.

Very good ambience and very good food. The price is inappropriate but unfortunately due to the location and rental prices. Portion could have been a little bigger for 20 euros + but in itself everything was fine. PERSONNEL WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND FRIENDLY :)

We spontaneously got a table for 2 people. The service was friendly. The ambience was very nice and we felt comfortable there. We didn't have to wait too long for the food. It tasted really great.

Delicious Sichuan food and extremely quick service.

After visiting two Chinese places we ended up here finally unlike the other two we had to wait but not that much. Food was excellent, service was late but yet good. We had a vegetarian friend who would have starved being in Germany but we really got exclusive food made for him within no time - yes veg food. Near to the station, the ambiance was perfect. The way the this place was decorated with feng Shui was amazing . Had a awesome dinner.

Great location. Right on the cathedral with a great view of the cathedral. Delicious food. Card with lunch until 15:00. Very attentive and friendly staff. Although the restaurant was full, we had the drinks and ordered food very quickly. The Chinese food is a bit bad German and tasted ok, but nothing more. If you like something more authentic, should m.E. rather visit another restaurant.

Terrible service, we ordered table at 20:00 and we waited for our order 1.5 hours.

Horrible food. Bought 10 Euro worth of fried rice and it is the worse I have eaten. Portion is small and food does not have what it is advertised to have.

No heat plate provided and rice, as can be seen in picture,, had not been covered. Therefore only 1 star for the rating. The staff had to run after to pay. The attention from the staff was not the best side. I will avoid a new visit.

How worst the service was!!! We will not recommend this restaurant to our passengers. NO WAY! Customer service was very poor...

Bad food, very rude staff

Oh, this is a restaurant that can do things right away. The visuals I saw in the photos were really incredible double triple. If everyone came here to see the cathedral, it was your best choice.

Tasty

Food’s good, but more to the salty side (eg prawn omelette, duck). But still the best selection around (better than great wall). Service wise, like what others mentioned, might get ignored at times / staffs sound rude but generally still okay. Gets pretty crowded from 7pm. A very safe choice if you’re Asian and craving for Chinese. Recommended: Salted veg with pork belly, roasted pork (it’s fried after being roasted - eat it while it’s hot), bean sprout, cabbage with glass noodles, spicy chicken, prawn omelette.

It’s ugly and unpalatable, and there are some standards. It’s not a bad thing to eat one at a time. Poor service attitude! All the meat is flour. Those fish are all in the snow. Chicken and pork chop, I really don't know what it is! • If you foreigners want to eat Chinese food. Be sure to go to Hong Kong! Only know what is delicious food!

The food on the lunch menu was "just okay" when we went there recently. Ambiente was nice.

We ate lunch at the place on mid Jan 2019. The food was not good and the staff were cold and unwelcoming. A big loss for such a spacious place on a great location.

Get the food very fast. The crispy wontons, chicken breasts in batter sweet sour and chicken breast kung boa kind were really delicious. The portions were also more than adequate. When we are back in Cologne, we like to come back.

The service wasn't great and nearly never came by to ask if we wanted another drink or if everything was in order. They were all chatting amongst each other and it felt like they didn't pay attention to the diners. Besides the service, I did enjoy my food. I thought it was a large, but delicious portion for a very reasonable price.

Food doesn't taste authentic, it's more like those industrialised sauces. It also took aaaagees to arrive at my table and the staff look always way too serious.
